This new technology powder in the IMR Legendary Powder Line was designed
to be an efficient, clean burning, 12 gauge target powder. Working throughout the range of
shot weights in 12 gauge, from light 7/8 ounce to 1 1/8 ounce handicap trap loads, this small
flake powder delivers top performance. Efficient low charge weights, mild muzzle report, with
minimal recoil, are all attributes of this fine propellant. Dove and light field loads are additional
uses for this great powder. IMR RED also performs nicely in various lead pistol target loads,
such as match competition loads and Cowboy reduced loads.
